Fashion Designers and their influence.

A list of influencial fashion designers.

Olivier Rousteing.

Olivier Rousteing is a fashion designer who has recently come through the fashion trends. He has a very influencial personality. He is one of the youngest designer and has achieved a lot for someone at the age of 30.  As a designer he focuses his attention on the model and their expressions. In an interview he claims that it is the face that makes the image sexy. In Balmain (where Rousteing learnt everything) the models image is very simple with very little makeup. This brightens up the face as every model is unique with their personality as well as their characteristics. As a designer Rouseteing looks for that individuality.

 Kris Van Assche.

Kris Van Asshe is a Belgian born designer who never expected to make it as far as he has. Asshe has been in the industry for a long time and the more he does it the more it is becoming clear where his vision and path is. He left being an assistant in a big house in order to start his own company. I myself can relate back to this, after practicing for Moguh. We realised that it isn't cheap to start your own company/brand. On the other hand Assche now wants to show the world his fun and light side.  As a child he followed his dream of creating clothes and now this is what I want to do. Im very fascinated by clothes and how the present a person. You can judge a persons character and charisma from just how they wear their clothes. I love controversy and fashion design is all about controversy. The more controversial the clothes are the more people love them.

Nicolas Ghesquiere.

Or also known as one of the most forward thinking designer. Louis Vuitton were struggling in their recent seasons and Ghesquire has the job to bring them back alive to which he largely succeeded in. At the age of 12 he wanted to become a designer and at the age of 14 he was offered an internship. His clothes are very modern with a twist on them. The clothes are very simple and minimalistic yet very effective and stand out.  The inspiration I would take from Ghesquire is to keep going with my minimalistic look as its my style and it fits me and works best for me.
